Trillium Falls Hike

 One of the highlights of my group trip to the Redwoods last week was going through Trillium Falls, located at Prairie Creek State Park, near the town of Orick,  which surely ranks as one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the entire United States.   The falls themselves are manmade and are nothing to write home about.   The falls were the least of the hike  Although only about 2.8 miles, hiking through those giant trees and ferns, with the sun trying to peer through, was an almost spiritual experience.  A few pictures I took:
