Near Selma, Oregon, is Eight Dollar Mountain (reason for the name unknown), which includes not just a regular hiking trail but also a botanical boardwalk. I was part of a group of ten people in a hike organized by Medford Parks and Recreation. The boardwalk ends at a field of California pitcher plants, which look like giant Venus flytraps. These plants aren't typically seen this far inland.
