People Can Say Whatever They Want

when it comes to the internet, so I can't vouch for the veracity of this claim of somebody who "knew" mass murderer Elliot Rodger in the biblical sense of the term.

A couple of excerpts:

He was fucking obsessed with white women! I guess he thinks since I'm Asian I didn't count. Eventually he would have had one, I've been with guys of every race, except black, my cousin did that and he tried to talk her into being her pimp afterwards, no thanks, probably too big anyways. But Arab, white, black, Asian, Indian, half Asian like him, I've done it, it all happens eventually. I didn't fuck a white guy till the 5th guy and I didn't consider myself a virgin until I did, white people are just one race in this world and not the be all end all. He felt he was a virgin because he hadn't fucked a white woman, not because he hadn't had sex. He came 5 times with me and I'm an attractive woman who has been hit on every day of her life but I'm not blonde, or a "blonde slut" as he so eloquently stated in his rant before murdering six people and killing himself!

He was an angry misogynistic racist self-hating half Asian psycho, but he was NOT A VIRGIN! Fuck Elliot Rodger. They're trying to make him a martyr for the Men's Rights Movement but he was an experienced guy. He just had a couple rejections and blew them out of proportion and went nuts. And he was a normal student, wasn't mentally ill, was just a crazy selfish asshole. He used me and didn't call me, there were at least two times when I was horny and called him and he wouldn't even respond to my text and was probably out being rejected by white women and building up his rage at them while rejecting sex with me. He's full of shit!

Presumably the same person responded to a question about why she hasn't disclosed this to media outlets.

A couple more snips (what I left out was too gross for my sensitive eyes):

I tried them today. I tried 10 outlets. One, I'm an admitted and proud slut and a lot of this is about slut-shaming. They love the story they have, it's selling. One said to call in a month, when it's died down maybe they will want a revamp, but they may just be blowing me off. Trust me, the only reason he felt he was a virgin was because he wanted white women. Blonde white women. I saw him hit on one and he was fucking weird, I'd have rejected him too if he hit on me like that. He had some kind of weird line about are you good to the people you love, can you be trusted, but mixed in with a question about how she orgasms and does she masturbate.

This guy isn't even close to a virgin. I would guess he slept with at least 5 girls before he died, and I guarantee you none were white because he acted like a weirdo when he talked to them.

The story has died down by now, so the chance she could get her fifteen minutes of fame is likely past. There is no chance they'd want to talk to her in a few weeks.

She may not have tried the Daily Mail. It's always looking for some good dirt to dish out.

It's the Mental Illness and Guns, Stupid

Elliot Rodger was not a symbol of anything other than severe mental illness. Unfortunately, younger, self-styled "feminists" have gone on rant after rant after rant trying to take apart this batshit crazy individual's "manifesto" and to claim it is typical of the already deranged "men's rights" mobs. Those MRAs, in turn, are supposedly representative of the rampant "misogyny"--a term I completely and totally LOATHE because it signifies nothing and sugarcoats what should be called "sexism"--in our society.

Meanwhile, people like Rodger go untreated or misdiagnosed and have access to guns. People like him gravitate toward boards like the "incel" or PUA boards, boards by and for misfits looking for validation and reinforcement of their crazy beliefs. However, even in those nutball environments, Rodger stood out with his insanity.

Just because somebody can write 137 pages and be able to cobble together sentences and paragraphs doesn't mean the person writing it isn't batshit. Rodger was. A couple of generations ago he would have been correctly diagnosed and institutionalized. He should have been in today's world.

Rodger hated EVERYBODY, not just the "pretty blond girls" who supposedly "rejected" him. His extreme envy toward the guys who could "get" the girls manifested itself in even more hatred.

Rodger was misanthropic more than he was a "misogynist." It's reflected in his victim count.

The hatred, though, was a symptom and not the cause of his mental illnesses and violence.

Sad Stuff

After over a million hits, YouTube took the Elliot Rodger rant down.

He supposedly was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, but AS doesn't manifest itself in paranoid or extreme narcissistic behavior.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he had paranoid schizophrenia. Watching the video and reading that 141-page "manifesto," it was clear he felt people were rejecting him or were out to destroy him.

Yes, sexism creates the groundwork for hostility and violence by men towards women, but this guy had a LOT of issues going far beyond being rejected by women. He was a ticking time bomb from childhood; believing women were the source of his problems merely sent him over the edge. Having access to weapons didn't help matters, either.

The victim's list of the dead has been made public.

Speaking of being made public, the media should have exercised much more responsibility and redacted the names of the people Rodger mentioned in his manifesto. All revealing the names did was create a lot of unnecessary grief and invasion of privacy.

These people had nothing to do with why Rodger did what he did.

In a tragic irony, Elliot Rodger’s late grandfather, George Rodger (1908-1995), photographed concentration camps when they were first liberated in 1945. He was later a founding member of Magnum Photos, along with Henri Cartier-Bresson (the left-wing French photographer).

The Magnum Photos website explains, “Having covered the liberation of France, Belgium and Holland, Rodger was the first photographer to enter Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in April 1945. In May he photographed the German surrender at Lüneburg for Time and Life. Traumatized by the experience of looking for ‘nice compositions’ in front of the dead, Rodger embarked on a 28,000-mile journey all over Africa and the Middle East, focusing on animal life, rituals, and ways of life that exist in a close relationship with nature.” Africa became his preoccupation for the next thirty years.

In the experience of the grandfather and the alleged crime of the grandson there is not simply an agonizing personal tragedy, but perhaps some indication as well of the cultural and moral degeneration that has taken place.

Men Who Hate Women and the Men Who Love Them

"Them," of course, means the men who hate women to the point they will kill them.

Of course the vast majority of men in this world--thank God--are not members of what is now considered a hate group, the "men's rights movement." When your group is the dominant group in society, there are no real rights to advocate on that group's behalf.

Oh, I take that back. I forgot about the billionaires who control it all yet have astroturf groups or front groups to advocate for them because they are "oppressed." However, the groups and think tanks aren't legimate groups but front groups.

But getting back to "men's rights." It's no more a legitimate group than the KKK. Hate is their reason for existence.

Murderer Darren Mack was once their hero. Now we have a punk named Elliot Rodger, who killed and injured innocent people, as another martyr for the "cause."

There is no question this guy has some serious mental issues. But mental illness alone doesn't explain the rampage. He was a devotee to online "men's rights" forums, thus fueling more anger than he already had.

He was screwed up, but he got even more screwed up:

Before the mass murder he allegedly committed, 22-year-old Rodger – also said to have been killed Friday night – made several YouTube videos complaining that he was a virgin and that beautiful women wouldn't pay attention to him. In one, he calmly outlined how he would "slaughter every single spoiled, stuck-up, blond slut I see."

It never dawned on him that perhaps women sensed there was something "off" with him and decided to avoid him.

Being a 22-year-old virgin--not unheard of in this world--wasn't the problem. Neither were the women.

It is indeed the case that sexist attitudes toward women (I LOATHE the term "misogyny")--still rampant in this culture--can and do have tragic consequences.

In other words, Rodger was an extreme but not an isolated case.

His manifesto or whatever it is can be found here. It is disturbing, to say the least.

I am aware that PUAhate or whatever that damned thing is called isn't technically MRA, but the hatred for women is similar.
