Kentucky Derby.

Kentucky officials respond to PETA and HSUS's criticisms of horse racing, which in honesty they want banned for "ethical" reasons.

Wayne Pacelle, head of HSUS, is as big an extremist as PETA's Ingrid Newkirk.

Since horses are used for sport, for entertainment including recreation, they would cease to exist in the animal liberation world. What horses remain would be in the wild, something for which they are ill-suited.

These animal rights nuts are liars who seek to exploit a tragedy for their own rotten ends.

More Miscellaneous News.

Now this should get more airplay and ink than Rezko or Obama:

A Barrington businessman lured a 20-year-old job applicant to his home, then killed him and stole his identity, possibly as part of a complicated $5 million life insurance scam, Lake County authorities said today.

Ari Squire, 39, initially was believed to have died in a Feb. 23 accident when his pickup truck slipped off a jack and crushed him in the garage of his Lake Barrington home.

The body found crushed beneath the truck was unrecognizable because of a suspicious fire that broke out in or near the vehicle.

DNA tests later identified the dead man as 20-year-old Justin Newman of Arlington Heights, who had told friends he had been invited by Squire to visit his home to apply for a job with Squire's construction company

I am sure somebody like Ann Rule is already looking at a possible book.

Because the animal rights mob cannot possibly win over the public in its philosophy there should be NO domesticated animals, they cleverly pick targets that might get public sympathy.

Unfortunately, few people have the courage to call them out.

You know HSUS is lying through its teeth because it is an extremist organization disguised as a humane organization.
