Obituary: Jeb Bush's Campaign

Following the drubbing he took tonight in the South Carolina Primary, which Donald Trump won and Jeb finished fifth, Jeb Bush has decided to pull the plug on his campaign.

I don't think we will see the end of him. He may resurface at the convention if somehow nobody gets enough delegates.

More is here.

Yes, He's a Ratf***er

Trump is so far ahead in the South Carolina polls he doesn't have to worry about his debate performance last night.

This picture at the link says a million words

It becomes more and more obvious as the primary season goes on that I am right about why Trump is in the race, and that is to prevent another Bush from being president. Whether he and the Clintons cut a deal, he cut a deal with the Democratic Party, or he just decided to fuck things up on his own, it is very obvious his role is as a ratfucker.

Trump let his inner Democrat show through a few times last night, especially with regard to the Iraq War and 9/11. Perhaps out of deference to the death of Antonin Scalia, Trump stopped just short of going after Jeb and his role in the 2000 election sham.

I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Trump does go there in a future debate.

As for the audience boos, one shouldn't read too much into it. One could even argue informal polls like Drudge's are more important.

The "outsiders," meaning Trump and Sanders, are dominating.

Of course, Sanders will fizzle out long before Trump does.

Stick a Fork In Jeb?

Pretty sad if you have to beg an unenthusiastic audience to clap:

I am still not convinced he won't be the GOP nominee. I am not ready to write him off yet.

Dumbass Crook Never Had to Work a Day in His Life

What in the hell does Jeb know about the labor force? He was born with a silver crowbar up his ass.

Age discrimination is rampant, and many people are kicked to the curb YEARS before they can qualify for Social Security, even early Social Security.

Lotsa luck ever resuming the same pay or career once tossed out.

After four years of substituting, with NO money during the summer months to cushion the blow, I was able to land a regular part-time job with NO benefits or am pension-eligible. I could have retired at WCSD by now if I hadn't had been illegally fired seven years ago. There may be a chance of someday resuming teaching, but I am now 60 years old.

I may NEVER be able to quit the labor force entirely.

I am one of the "lucky" ones, I suppose, in that I found some kind of stable income.

If anything, the Social Security age should be lowered given the realities of the labor market.

From Mitt to Shit

Well, that mystery is out of the way.

Mitt is making way for a crook to be the GOP nominee.

It is astounding how, like a bad penny, the Bush family returns again.

Jeb is a million times worse than his addled brother George, who wasn't actually running the U.S. government anyway during the eight years he squatted in the Oval Office that really belonged to Al Gore. As we remember, Jeb, along with cronies like Katherine Harris, tried to steal Florida for his brother, but in the end, it was a bought-and-paid- for USSC that decided the election in 2000. Totally illegal, and the high court majority should have been impeached and run out of town, but nothing was done, of course.

Jeb Bush is a crook, pure and simple.

The United States of America is truly on the ropes and done for if he gets in the White House.

He can't be trusted to run a clean election.

Not This Shit Again

That crook needs to be doing prison time for his crimes in getting his dimwitted brother into office, not grooming himself to be president.

Even if it weren't an issue with being a nepotism, I still wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Don't the political parties have anybody besides these old retreads who can't find work outside the Beltway?

If Jeb gets in, we will get the PNAC bunch, and if Hillary Clinton gets in there, it will be the Rubenites who will be calling the shots.

The voters are screwed either way.

Our political system is broken.

Not This Shit Again

You would think that the numerous failures of his brother would give him pause, but no.

You'd think people would be intelligent enough to reject this crook out of hand, but no.

No wonder I am getting sick to death of politics, especially on the national end.

Country goes down in economic flames, and these retreads keep popping up.

Good News, Bad News

The good news is Jeb Bush has taken himself out of the running for president in 2012.

The bad news is he will continue to have his filthy hands in education.

The Education Wars

Birds of a feather shit together.

No wonder Jeb likes this administration's education policies; if anything, they are worse than his brother's.

Presidential Notes.

While the media are trying to push unelectable candidates down Democrats' throats, the religious right is sweating over trying to back a candidate fascistic enough for their tastes.

They are having a hell of a hard time, for none of the Republican candidates is palatable enough for them:

Many conservatives have already declared their hostility to Senator John McCain of Arizona, despite his efforts to make amends for having once denounced Christian conservative leaders as “agents of intolerance,” and to former Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani of New York, because of his liberal views on abortion and gay rights and his three marriages.

Many were also suspicious of former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts; members have used the council as a conduit to distribute a dossier prepared by a Massachusetts conservative group about liberal elements of his record on abortion, stem cell research and gay rights. (Mr. Romney has worked to convince conservatives that his views have changed.)

And some members of the council have raised doubts about lesser known candidates — Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas and Representative Duncan Hunter of California, who were invited to Amelia Island to address an elite audience of about 60 of its members, and Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas, who spoke to the full council at its previous meeting, in October in Grand Rapids, Mich.

A few are holding out hope Jeb will run, but it is extremely unlikely.
