Since Her Husband

is too chickenshit to make another Reno appearance, Elizabeth Kucinich will make an appearance instead at UNR tomorrow night at 7.

Remember,

John Edwards is "struggling to break through" despite the fact Obama and Clinton were scared shitless they would screw up and give him an opening.

He won the debate, of course, but that doesn't mean shit to the corporate media.

Why Did Salon's

front page decide to picture only Obama and Clinton, when Edwards was very visible in this debate?

Some Are Bitching

about Kucinich being tossed out on his butt from participating in the debate (he has his own "alternate" monologue instead for his foolish supporters), but I like this debate the best, despite the fact there were a few softball questions thrown in.

The kook candidates are distractions from things that need to be said.

Obama DID screw it up when he admitted he hadn't been showing up to his day job in the Senate lately because of his campaign.

Bad move, O.

He is still stammering. I don't understand why he does this. It may have to do with his possibly feeling he doesn't have control over the venue.

Edit: Naturally Edwards won the debate hands down. He was driving the issues, and the others were really afraid to make mistakes. They know all of them are statistically tied here.

The Questions

are going to be below the belt, what with Tim Russert there.

The Vegas Democratic Debate

is now underway.

Thank God that kook Kucinich was not allowed onstage to tag team against Edwards.

Goddamned pricks on MSNBC still try to paint this as an Obama/Clinton matchup, despite the fact the polls in Nevada show it a three-way tie.

This poll by ARG shows a little bit wider spread, but Edwards well within the game:

Clinton 35%
Obama 32%
Edwards 25%
Kucinich 0%
Gravel 0%
Undecided 8%

On a somewhat related note, the Obama campaign shouldn't play up the Las Vegas Review Journal endorsement. The paper is one of the most right-wing newspapers in the entire country.

Mitt Romney, not surprisingly, has won the Michigan GOP primary.

The Debate is On.

Obama got the biggest applause, but he is shaky, nervous, and looks bad, very tired in fact.

Naturally the back-and-forth between the two of Clobama is going to ruin the debate. Where the hell are the other people?

Good thing I was not there tonight. I'd have been kicked out. What a disaster of a debate.

One thing about it: Hillary said a flat "no" to driver's licenses for illegals. No parsing, no nothing.

It was funny when she said she wasn't playing the gender card, yet she did play the gender card by mentioning she would be the first woman president of the United States. It was funny.

The crowd should NOT be allowed to cheer or boo candidates. That is totally wrong.

I am tempted to shut the goddamned television off and watch Route 66 on my DVDs. I have never seen a worse debate in my life.

Campaign Notes.

Woke up this morning with light in my eyes
And then realized it was still dark outside
It was a light coming down from the sky
I don't know who or why

Must be those strangers that come every night
Those saucer shaped lights put people uptight
Leave blue-green footprints that glow in the dark
I hope they get home all right

Hey, Mr. Spaceman
Won't you please take me along
I won't do anything wrong
Hey, Mr. Spaceman
Won't you please take me along for a ride

I was reminded of the song while reading this.

Talk about alienating your supporters.

And yes, we are becoming an alien nation.
_____

I don't know if I will get a ticket or even make it to the debate if I did get one, but I put in for a ticket to the Democratic debate in Vegas on November 15.
