When It Comes to Food, Some Sanity Can Be Found in the World,

and look no further than the kids' wholesale rejection of so-called "healthy" foods in school cafeterias around LAUSD. Who can stand that crap day after day?

Naturally kids are going to bring what they want from home. There is even so-called "black markets" in junk food on campuses around the district.

The faddists and fascists will never get it in their heads that not everybody agrees with their draconian attitude toward food.

The school district is apparently going to give students more of what they want.

What should happen is a return to homecooked meals on school campuses, with real cooks instead of this microwave shit schools have now. The worst damned crap is those potatoes that are smothered in syrup. Talk about nasty, nasty stuff.

Sticking It to the Food Fascists

These nutjobs are trying to tell us what to eat. I hate to tell them, but veganism is unnatural, and few people can stand it for any length of time.

Cramming a nutball diet as "healthy" down the throats of people under the guise of combating "obesity" is going to fail. The problem isn't "obesity" or "health," it's prejudice.

My own school district has a similar policy, and it's batshit. You can't raise money at all because if you don't sell high sodium "trial mix" or sell vegetarian-type shit that nobody will eat. It's ridiculous.
