who don't understand what the freakshow is about, here is a supposed explanation of it, with some history.
It still doesn't make much sense, especially when people are willing to shell out a couple of hundred dollars to go in the middle of the desert to try and live or relive the hippie culture of the 1960s.
As the site says, it originated in San Francisco. It figures.
