If people believe every bit of garbage the anti-Edwards mainstream media spews, they will think JRE is being an opportunist by staying in the race regardless of the fact his wife is ill.
If people have the sense to realize the fact the corporate media hate and fear Edwards because he actually went after corporations when he was an attorney and he can actually be elected president, they won't swallow the latest smear job.
Anybody with any kind of knowledge of presidential history knows MANY wives of presidents were ill or were invalids while their husbands were either running for the job or were serving as presidents.
(Hell's bells, we even had one president--Wilson--who was actually an invalid during the end of his second term and his second wife (the first, Ellen, died while he was president and nobody bitched her husband should have resigned his job to care for her), Edith Bolling Galt Wilson, actually was running the show. One could even claim Nancy Reagan had a greater role running the country than being just the adoring wife of her husband when he was starting to become infirm.)
It hasn't happened much in recent times, the most recent being Betty Ford's cancer treatment, but it's happened time and again.
Face it: There is NO concern by the media about Elizabeth Edwards, who is most likely the person who is urging her husband to press on with the campaign. They now know they have to cover him when before they were content with covering HillaryObama.
