The person you REALLY need to apologize to for your outrageous, manipulative behavior is no longer here to accept it or reject it.
Unforgivable, but that's par for the course for a sociopath. Let's have a pretend apology to draw more attention to yourself.
You are just like your horse-killing, scamming father. Go find some other millionaire marriage to break up and profit.

Lisa Jo, Don't Give Anymore Interviews,
and please crawl back from under the rock from which you came:
Outrage certainly isn't a partisan affair (no pun intended).
There is NO excuse whatsoever for a single person (or married private figure) to actively pursue a married public figure. If anything, the person is even MORE culpable than the married party because the person actively seeks a relationship with somebody the whole world knows is married.
Druck only makes Edwards look worse because the world will wonder what in the HELL he ever saw in somebody so cold hearted she would pursue a relationship with somebody obviously stressed out in his marriage thanks to major health crises.
I missed this interview with George S., and I am glad I did:
Sociopaths have a constant need for attention, good, bad, or indifferent.

Memoirs of a Sociopath
Can't believe anybody can possibly be sympathetic to Lisa Jo Druck now. To trash somebody now that she is dead and can't respond is the ultimate in tackiness.
Not to mention this is a case of projection:
There is no regard for the kids involved. It's all about her.
Not to mention this is a case of projection:
Excerpts released earlier this week showed how much Hunter despised Elizabeth, who died in December 2010.
She described “Johnny’s” wife as a “witch on wheels,” “crazy” and “venomous.”
The marriage, she wrote, was “filled with issues that clearly neither Johnny nor Elizabeth wanted to address.”
The cringe-worthy details in her memoir — which had been rejected by major book publishers — comes just two weeks after Edwards was acquitted of charges that he subverted campaign- finance laws to hide the affair.
There is no regard for the kids involved. It's all about her.
The Media Have No Shame
They simply can't stop trashing the Edwards family, not even after death. So freaking what if John was "cut out" of Elizabeth's will--they were estranged, and she was dying of cancer and had to update it.
It's hardly newsworthy except as some kind of cheap shot against the family.
No, I am not going to supply a link; the "story" is all over the place.

Remembering Elizabeth Edwards (1949-2010)
Elizabeth campaigned for John at the Carpenters Union Hall, Reno, Nevada, in September of 2007. She signed a foldable frisbee for me. You can see an example in one of the pictures.
I Just Returned from Working
when I found out the news Elizabeth Edwards, 61, had passed away today after a six-year battle with cancer.
I met her three times; she was a great person and sharp as a tack.
Here is the NYT obituary.
The Raleigh News-Observer has a better obituary that focuses more on her:

The Raleigh News-Observer has a better obituary that focuses more on her:
She became a popular figure on the presidential campaign trail in 2004, seen as someone approachable, less glamorous and more down-to-earth than her husband. She would make fun of herself as someone without perfectly coiffed hair or a stylish outfit, as someone who struggled with her weight.
It was during a campaign trip in Wisconsin a few weeks before the 2004 election that Edwards noticed a lump in her breast. Tests indicated cancer, but she and her husband kept it a secret until after the election.
The day after the election, when Kerry and John Edwards made their concession speeches in Boston, Edwards went to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for a biopsy and to begin treatment. She spent much of 2005 undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment after surgery.
She received 65,000 messages of support.
News, Etc.
Sad news that Elizabeth Edwards has now stopped all cancer treatment, with doctors believing any further treatment would be "unproductive."

Not content with destroying the Edwards family with their sleazy articles about JRE and Lisa Jo Druck, the Pulitzer-nominated National Enquirer is happy to report JRE is about to be indicted by a grand jury:

The ultimate fall from grace, a Federal grand jury is about to indict John Edwards, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
In another shocker, close sources say Edwards' estranged wife Elizabeth could help send the former presidential candidate to jail!
Edwards, the disgraced two-time Presidential loser, is being investigated by the feds, including the FBI and IRS, for possible campaign violations related to paying his mistress Rielle Hunter.
The grand jury has been meeting since April 2009, and insiders say an indictment is imminent.

A judge wants that "sex tape" of John Edwards and Lisa Jo Druck under lock and key.
It makes one wonder, though, if the damned thing has been copied.
It was nothing but a blackmail deal anyway; unfortunately for Druck, she got outwitted by a dimwit who is trying to capitalize on the mess.
Dirtbag Young tries--and fails--to garner sympathy for himself in that recent interview:
The National Enquirer this week had a cover story about John and Elizabeth actually coming to blows over the Druck mess.
I REFUSE to call Lisa Jo Druck anything else than her real name, granted that "Hunter" is her real married name.
Other than titillation value, what is the point of the media going on with this stuff?

Young, who initially claimed to be the father of Hunter's baby, has written a tell-all book about how Edwards hid his mistress and child amid the 2008 White House campaign. The longtime aide wrote that he found a video in a "box of trash" Hunter had left behind at a home he rented in Chapel Hill.
The tape, Young says, shows Edwards in a sexual encounter with a pregnant woman that Young believes to be Hunter. Young's attorneys had argued that the tape Hunter was seeking appeared to be different from the one he has.

A frightened, shivering dog has been rescued after floating alone on an ice floe down Poland's Vistula River and then 15 miles (24 kilometers) out into the Baltic Sea.
Now his saviors just have to figure out who really owns him.
Four people have already claimed him, but so far rescuers say there's been no wagging tail of joy from the miracle dog they nicknamed "Baltic."
The dog's frozen odyssey came as Poland suffers through a winter cold snap, with temperatures dipping to below minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 20 Celsius).
The thick-furred male dog was found adrift Monday by the crew of the Baltica, a Polish ship of ocean scientists carrying out research in the Baltic Sea. Researcher Natalia Drgas said Thursday the rescue was difficult and at one point it seemed the dog had drowned.

John Edwards admitted today what everybody in the country already knows.
Evidently, the child is called "Quinn" instead of "Frances."
He is hoping that coming forward with it, which he should have done from the get-go, will keep the tabloids away from snooping into his personal matters.
I am Quinn's father. I will do everything in my power to provide her with the love and support she deserves. I have been able to spend time with her during the past year and trust that future efforts to show her the love and affection she deserves can be done privately and in peace.
It was wrong for me ever to deny she was my daughter and hopefully one day, when she understands, she will forgive me. I have been providing financial support for Quinn and have reached an agreement with her mother to continue providing support in the future.
To all those I have disappointed and hurt, these words will never be enough, but I am truly sorry.

According to the National Enquirer, despite all of the publicity surrounding his affair with Lisa Jo Druck and alleged child resulting from it, John Edwards was said to have been cruising the bars trying to pick up women, but even they won't go near him. He's ended up going home alone.

What isn't included in the link but in the dead tree version is this:
Edwards was apparently truthful when he told a female Kornerstone patron a few nights earlier that he was headed to divorce court.
His long-suffering wife had given him the boot after he announced he would fight for at least partial custody of his love child Frances, disclosed an insider.
"Elizabeth screamed there was no way she wanted his illegitimate child in her house."
To make matters even worse, Edwards' ex-mistress Rielle "was infuriated when she heard John has boasted that he could probably get full custody of their daughter," revealed the insider.
"Rielle said it would be over her 'dead body'--and you can bet she'll be doubly mad when she hears John has been out trying to pick up other women."

facts:
John and Elizabeth Edwardsa have been married for 31 years.
They had four children together, three are living, and one, recently, died.
Elizabeth Edwards has stage 4 cancer.
Any decent human being would not have inserted herself
into their lives, and then sold stories about them to the National Enquierer

If this story is true, then one can only conclude that Senator John Edwards is not the father of her child. This makes me happy for John and Elizabeth Edwards, their children, and the American people whom John Edwards has, and I hope will continue to serve.
President-Elect Barack Obama has chosen, mostly, Wall Street promoters and corporate lawyers to be in his cabinet. He hasn’t included anyone who knows how to interact and relate with everyday American citizens, and then report back to him concerning: (1) what the people need, and (2) whether his administration’s new initiatives are working. During the Great Depression, Eleanor Roosevelt fulfilled this role for President Franklin D. Roosevelt. I nominate Senator John Edwards for this role. John Edwards would be a refreshing change. Is not change what Obama s supposed to be about? As a rival of Barack Obama, for the Democratic Party Presidential nomination, John Edwards, consistently spoke up for average Americans, i.e. Main Street, not Wall Street. During his “Road to One America Poverty Tour” John Edwards demonstrated that he is uniquely qualified for this role.
The video evidence follows:
He has walked with and comforted people whose homes were being foreclosed:

Defined the “Great Moral Test of Our Generation”:

He has visited workers employed in the new renewal energy economy:

AMERICAN Media moved a half step closer to being the next major media company to file for bankruptcy.
On Dec. 1, the publisher of Star magazine and the National Enquirer missed the final deadline to make a $21.2 million interest payment, and is feverishly negotiating with bondholders of $1.1 billion of its debt.On Dec. 1, the publisher of Star magazine and the National Enquirer missed the final deadline to make a $21.2 million interest payment, and is feverishly negotiating with bondholders of $1.1 billion of its debt.
Two industry sources told Media Ink that the company has retained bankruptcy lawyers…
Moody’s reported that on Dec. 1, American Media entered into a “forbearance agreement” with its lenders and bondholders under which if it fails to pay interest on its 10.25 percent debt, it “would not constitute an immediate event of default under the terms of the notes.”
If the restructuring deal is approved, it would effectively wipe out stakeholders Evercore Partners and Thomas H. Lee & Partners, and turn over 95 percent of the stock to those holding the debt. The old shareholders would retain just 5 percent of the company under the new transaction

When, Rielle Hunter refused to get a DNA paternity test, it became clear to everyone that Senator John Edwards was not the father of her child. A sex partner is not necessarily a mistress, sometimes the partner is just a whore.
Considering that she was being kept so lavishly by another guy and the National Enquirer, she still should have some money.
But if she needs child support,
she can take the real father to court and get it.
Everybody has been so quick to vilify John Edwards and
suggest that his marriage isn’t solid. Sex isn’t always indicative of the solidity of a marriage.
Mrs. Edwards has cancer, and, maybe, sometimes, when she is on various medications, sexual intercorse is not always possible.
I think Mrs. Edwards “whom John obviously adores” is wise
enough to distinguish true love from a sexual dalliance.

Some things like marriage relationships are private to be discussed between the persons involved. People need to stop pretending they are outraged. The only person with a right to be outraged is Elizabeth Edwards, and she has decided to spend much of her time working for universal health care for Americans. She has also said she and her husband want to dedicate their lives to fighting poverty. Let’s not hinder them.
Other things like jobs, labor rights, the collapse of our economy, and government bailouts are public matters to be discussed by all Americans. I don’t want to see working Americans treated like the workers in “third world countries”. John and Elizabeth Edwards are well aware of their short comings, but they also know how to fight and work for the American people.
Watch the video of John, Elizabeth and their two youngest children at work restoring a home in New Orleans:

Steph what you wrote is so very true.
To day is Ampril 2, 2009 very soon it will be
tax time again. However, I am sure the IRS is already investigated whether she paid taxes on
the money she has already extorted.
Rielle may be about to find out:
“What goes around, comes around.”
I hope Rielle Hunter gets what she deserves.
Steph said,in December 21st, 2008 at 10:15 am
“Hunter has an important date coming . . . April 15th. That is the day she has to report all the financial support she has received this year as income and pay taxes on it. The IRS shows no mercy and they are certainly aware of the huge amount of money she has been given. So having blown through all that cash is going to come back to bite her big time. The IRS has enormous power against which people have little recourse. If she thought she is playing hardball, she’s going to find out what hardball really is!”

Just when you think the longrunning soap opera of John Edwards and the "paternity question" couldn't get lower, it does. Rumor has it he is about to admit paternity of the baby of the infamous Lisa Jo Druck aka Rielle Hunter.

While John and Elizabeth continue to remain married, they don't much act like it anymore:
Shortly after he withdrew from the race in January 2008, Mr. Edwards and his wife were given a huge ovation when they attended a basketball game at the University of North Carolina. But a few months ago, when the couple showed up for dinner at a Chapel Hill restaurant, diners averted their eyes and stared at their plates, according to a person who was there.
At the recent Boston funeral of Senator Edward M. Kennedy, Mrs. Edwards walked several steps ahead of her husband, greeting people exuberantly. Far fewer people approached Mr. Edwards, who appeared ill at ease.
Yet Still More Shit
The Edwards' marriage is apparently kaput, according to the National Enquirer.
Elizabeth is said to have kicked him out:

Elizabeth is said to have kicked him out:
His cancer-stricken wife Elizabeth kicked him out of their bedroom more than two years ago when he confessed to cheating on her, and the two are now living apart, sources say.
While the disgraced presidential candidate occasionally spends time at their sprawling mansion for the sake of their two younger children, the couple - who married in 1977 - sleep apart, insiders say.
That's the true state of the Edwards' marriage - even though both Elizabeth and John recently told Oprah Winfrey on national TV that they're working to rebuild their shattered union.
