Campaign Notes.

John Edwards received the endorsement of a couple of important labor organizations.

Probably for naught, as his campaign has totally fucked up its chances of EVER winning the primaries, much less the White House.

I STILL can't believe Edwards proposed such bullshit as denying people who opt for his government-based health insurance plan any choice as to whether to get "preventive care."

What will happen, of course, if somehow he got to the White House and got his plan through Congress is that private insurers would tout "choice" for consumers/companies, and few people will opt for the Edwards plan.

Which may be his goal, if one looks at it cynically. Give a ton of lip service when it comes to "universal care," but when the chips are down, NO change would happen.

In reality, if by some miracle Edwards did win the nomination, the Republicans would be on him like flies to shit. He should have learned something from the Clinton health care "debacle," for crissake.

Hillary Clinton and the other Democratic candidates will eviscerate him over this crap. I am just about ready to ditch Edwards and back Dodd or Biden instead.

I can't believe he singlehandedly destroyed his chances for the presidency and probably any chance Democrats have of winning it next year.

Whoever advised him on this crap should be shitcanned--NOW!!!!!
