The more John Edwards comes up with stupid, unworkable ideas like "mandatory checkups" for his universal health care plan, the more likely I am to look at Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, or even Bill Richardson to support.
That's in addition to his SUV remarks, which were astoundingly stupid, given he owns a couple of them.
I want to know who is advising him.
Edwards is the best we've got in this campaign, but he's been screwing up as of late and giving ammo to the other side.
If Edwards got the nomination and didn't reconsider this idiocy, the Republicans would absolutely destroy him over this, and we would NEVER get universal health insurance.
Edit: Would he also REQUIRE that Medicare and Medicaid patients also get annual checkups?
He and his campaign have NO idea how bad this is for his chances, which are uphill at this point.
