Even as Obama has screwed it up and destroyed what little chance he has of ever being president, Adam Nagourney tries to find ways to prop him up by trashing Hillary Clinton further.
The simple math is this: If Clinton doesn't have enough delegates to go to Denver, neither has Obama.
Either way, the contest goes to the convention and to the superdelegates.
Edwards needed to stay in the race given the fact it's going all the way to Denver anyway.
