I headed off to Oregon today. The weather is windy here in Reno, but little did I know the weather would be nasty up north. I got almost to Alturas, California, about 155 miles north of here, and then I turned around and came back. It was snowing like hell up in the mountains, and I decided to forget it.
I probably could have driven the distance okay, but I turned around and came back. My sinuses were acting up, too, probably because of the wind.
I will make another attempt in a couple days, paying close attention to road conditions.
