This Wall Street Journal Opinion

piece, incredibly enough, asks some questions about Obama and his playing the race card:

But for all of Mr. Obama's soaring rhetoric about the nation's need for a post-racial politics that "brings the American people together," his campaign at times has seemed overly sensitive about race. It also seems to want it both ways. Mr. Obama claims that his brand of politics transcends race, but at the same time he's using race as a shield to shut down important and legitimate arguments.


It's a total excuse for the fact he has no real policy positions and a pathetically slim resume. It's a way for him and his supporters to shut down debate by crying "racism" at every opportunity.

It isn't going to work if he wants to be president. Sooner or later he will have to be vetted.
