I encountered this snake on the way back from the hike. I don't think it was a rattlesnake, but if it was, it wasn't a very old one. It was little. Anyway, whether it was a rattlesnake or a gopher or bull snake, I wasn't THAT close to get into trouble.



I was up by Washoe Lake today. I can finally climb up the hill after not being able to do so earlier.
