One of the last if not the last surviving cast member of the 1942 classic, Casablanca, Joy Page, has died at the age of 83.
In the movie she played the Bulgarian newlywed who felt she had to sleep with Captain Renault in order to get visas out of Casablanca for her and her husband since they had no money. Rick, played by Humphrey Bogart, made sure she didn't have to by having her husband play a rigged roulette game where he won enough money for the visas.
She was step-daughter of studio mogul Jack L. Warner, and she was later married to William T. Orr, who headed WB's television department. You will see his name on various classic television series such as Maverick. They later divorced.
