Huffaker Hills Trail

The nearby reservoir.

The view of Reno from the trail. Rattlesnake Mountain is on the right. Notice how smoky the Truckee Meadows is.

One last closeup.

A real good closeup. The lizard moved to another rock and posed once again.

Because it was too hot this morning to go running unless I did it around 6:30 a.m. or 7 and because I plan to ride my bike on the bike trails near Tahoe City, California, tomorrow, I decided to go hiking in the southern part of Reno at Huffaker Hills Trail, which is near Rattlesnake Mountain. There are several loops or semi-loops in the area, and I went on all of them for around two hours. There were few or no flowers in bloom; however, I have several pictures of a lizard which decided to pose for the camera. It stayed put on the rock after I walked by it.
