What should be done with the Helmsley billions is to set up an independent foundation which would funnel money to animal shelters all over the country.
The PETA and HSUS bastards should never see a dime of the Helmsley fortune. They aren't in the business of animal welfare but to abolish animal domestication.
The nutjobs in the comments note the Center for Consumer Freedom, of which the writer of the op-ed is a representative, is an industry "front" group. Whoop-dee-doo. So that automatically makes PETA and HSUS reputable.
