I hope she doesn't accept to be on the ticket. She will end up like Ferraro, blamed for a doomed candidacy.
She is much better off following the Reagan model of 1976. She should give tepid support, keep her distance, wait for him go down to defeat and start organizing for 2012.
She should also ignore all those who claim she will be blamed when Obama goes down to defeat. Ford blamed Reagan but it sure didn't hurt Reagan's career. He was able to say I told you so, run again in four years and win a landslide victory.
