Bayh and Kaine have been told they aren't it.
It sounds more and more like Biden or perhaps Richardson.

In case readers care, here are the current odds for various running mate possibilities for Barack Obama to go down the ship with him in November.
I still say it's Biden.

Obama has made his choice and will announce it within a couple of days.
My guess it is Joseph Biden.

Or could it after all be Kaine, as Obama will be in Lynchburg, Virginia, home of Jerry Falwell's old stomping grounds, tomorrow. If it is, Democrats are deliberately throwing the election away.
Nobody outside of Virginia has heard of him, he adds nothing to a national ticket, and no Democrat is going to win Virginia anyway, certainly not up against McCain.

Supposedly Obama is down to about three finalists for the running mate slot, and of those three Joe Biden is the best choice.
The problem with Biden is his obvious experience and intelligence would easily overshadow Obama and make people question why the ticket wasn't reversed. Biden is one hell of a debater. If the ticket had been reversed, I probably wouldn't hesitate to support it.
The other two just don't add anything to a national ticket. Democrats aren't going to win Virginia or Indiana anyway.
As for McCain, I figure Romney will get the running mate nod, despite his religion.
