Bayh and Kaine have been told they aren't it.
It sounds more and more like Biden or perhaps Richardson.
But who knows?

Susan,
I bet Hillary is wondering about only one thing; who is going to be McCain's running mate.
That is what Democrats should we interested in. Is there going to be an incumbent republican VP running at the end of McCain's term.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's Romney despite being a Mormon. He's very popular out here in Nevada; in fact, he won the Republican caucuses out here.
We ALL should watch closely who McCain picks and be prepared for another dozen years of Republican rule.
Very depressing.
Unfortunately it might happen.
If McCain wins and runs for reelection he will probably be reelected. It is very difficult to defeat an incumbent president.
If he doesn't run his VP will probaby get the nomination. He will have a lot of advantages.
Just because I think McCain is feeling his age now, I don't expect him to run for re-election, but if he's got somebody like Romney, who is telegenic if somewhat robotic and isn't anywhere near as dumb as he looks, it's going to be damned difficult for a Democrat to win in 2012 or 2016 or even ever, at this rate.
If McCain picks Romney, Nevada at least is solid red. Obama might just as well forget campaigning here anymore.
I am looking beyond this election and it doesn't look good for Democrats.
Republicans may be evil and they can't govern but they are not stupid. They nominated the strongest candidate they have, given the circumstances.
McCain does not come across as a crazed right wing lunatic. He seems like a reasonable guy to the average voter.
McCain's low-key style is very deceptive. He does sound reasonable, even when he is saying things that don't make sense.
Obama just simply doesn't have what it takes to close the sale. Now with Biden as his running mate, a guy who knows his shit about a huge variety of issues, it becomes even more obvious Obama is hopelessly overmatched.
