Governor Palin survived McCain's thorough vetting process.
Since the rumors of her being considered for the VP slot had been around for a long time, I am sure she had the inside track for being selected.
When it comes to vetting, I wish the same could be said for Obama.

You think there was a vetting process. Wake up and smell the coffee. Stop drinking the kool-aid. Read the news ... Palin's daughter, 17, is pregnant AND NOT MARRIED. So you still think there was a vetting process.

The fact of the matter is the Obama campaign or its fanatics decided to smear Palin and her daughter, and it has backfired. So what if Bristol is pregnant? So fucking what? Obama was conceived and born out of wedlock. The rumor was not that she was pregnant; the rumor was her MOTHER was covering for her, an idiotic smear if there ever was one.
