The big news is Sarah Palin survived the lion's den. Not by much, but she did survive it. That constitutes a "victory" of sorts, even though she was totally overmatched by Biden, the only Democrat of the four in the race. Anybody watching the debate surely must be asking himself or herself why in the hell Biden isn't on the top of the Democratic Party ticket.
In short, Palin met expectations.
At least I didn't fall asleep.
I don't need to live blog these debates anymore; I provided a live stream and will provide the rerun, and then, when C-SPAN puts on its broadcast on YouTube, I will upload it on the iPod.
I am not going to tell you what to think of this debate. You can make your own decision.
Ifill supposedly broke her ankle doing research for the debate and ended up in a wheelchair.
Yep, Chuck Todd is probably right that the debate will fade in the public's memory.
