Supposedly Edwards has asked con artist Lisa Jo Druck to marry him and even further disgrace himself.
According to him, however, the story isn't true:
"It's absolutely not true," says a spokesperson for Edwards, of a story in the National Enquirer that claims the two plan to wed after his divorce from Elizabeth Edwards is complete.
Though the former senator acknowledged last month that he is the father of a 2-year-old girl with Hunter, a spokesperson for Edwards says he and Hunter don't communicate directly any longer.
"They only communicate through a third party," to work out Edwards visitation, the spokesperson says, and when the former presidential candidate visits daughter Frances Quinn, Hunter is not present.
