the United States Senate had more pressing things to do, like going to their second vacation homes or their yachts than to bother with the unwashed messes of the unemployed. So, we who have exhausted all benefits are running on fumes now.
Because of the goddamned mess in moving in Reno (my landlord miscalculated how big a storage unit I'd need, and now I have stuff in a small unit while two-thirds of my possessions are still in the apartment). I have just about had it. I am going to wait two or three weeks before making a decision about whether to get another unit there or moving all of this stuff back to Oregon, which is where I want everything. In the meantime, I missed out on two interviews this week. I also only went one day for Hot August Nights, as I was too exhausted from packing to take in much this year. I am running out of money, so I had to return to Medford to decide what my next plan of action will be.
I could have stayed a night or two more for HAN, but the Phoenix (Oregon) High School "Decade of the '70s" reunion is going on tomorrow and I didn't want to miss it.
