It Was a Good Day Yesterday for the American People

Mississippi, of all places, soundly rejected a fetal/embryo "personhood" amendment, which should, but probably won't, derail the anti-abortion movement in the United States.

It's all a bunch of crap anyway. If after 38 years Roe v. Wade hasn't been overturned (although it has been chipped at over the decades), it is NEVER going to happen.

Of course the GOP knows this, but it makes a good wedge issue for gullible voters to be distracted while it and neoliberal Democrats continue to pick their pockets.

The other major victory was in Ohio, where voters there soundly rejected the right-wingers like Kasich and said no way in hell is the state going to undercut collective bargaining there.

The big problem the Democrats have is they are still infiltrated with neolibs, including the man at the top of the heap.
