Jodi Arias Trial: Day 29

Trial resumes today at 10:30 a.m. MST. Defendant Jodi Arias will continue to answer questions from the jury.

Some of the questions yesterday seemed to be hostile and reflected perhaps the ideas of some of the jury who perhaps don't understand the dynamics of abusive relationships. Jodi Arias did well in answering their concerns if sometimes being a bit too verbose.

I don't think this in any way means the jury is ready to "fry her," but perhaps they don't fully believe she killed Travis Alexander in self-defense.

Those lies she told to detective Flores and to the media early on truly hurt her credibility, but this is what happens when you don't understand Miranda warnings or you are suffering from PTSD, which I am sure she had. Jodi is not at all like that now.

I suspect the domestic violence or other experts the defense calls will explain this behavior further.

Apparently there will be no trial next Monday or Tuesday because of juror commitments, so the trial will resume on Wednesday.

Trial can be viewed at the Arizona Republic website, among live streams or can be viewed here on the blog:
