It used to be the New York Times had a dagger symbol on its bestseller lists if a large portion of a book's sales was due to bulk purchases.

Lots and lots of books, especially those published by outfits like Regnery, have been purchased in bulk and then later sold or given away.

I don't understand why the paper would suddenly single out one person when they have known about this practice for years.

Ted Cruz has denied it but made political hay out of it, and his publisher and outlets like Amazon.com have denied it.

Obituary: Satoru Iawata, only 55, president of Nintendo, died of a bile duct tumor:

Iawata began his career at HAL laboratory in 1982, a software company that worked on some Nintendo titles. He joined Nintendo as a director in 2000 and was the hand-chosen successor to the legendary Hiroshi Yamauchi, who died in 2013 after a half-century at the company. According to The Wall Street Journal, Iwata was the first company president from outside the Yamauchi family.
