Pernicious Filth

This stuff is pernicious filth designed for the rest of us to take pity on a tiny number of wealthy women who had the path greased for them, thanks to their connections, and have a lot more financial options. The vast majority of working women are not in the alleged "glamorous careers," which aren't all that anyway, I can tell you, but struggle every single day to survive. They aren't "less ambitious" or "less driven" than the rich Ivy League-type snobs depicted in articles like this. In fact, the "struggles" of the oppressed top one percent or smaller aren't even in the same ballpark as the rest of us. It is long overdue to stop with this nose-in-the-air, I-am-better-than-you elitism. A Harvard study like this of rich, snob types means NOTHING to the rest of us in this country. It is offensive to shove this garbage down our throats when it is irrelevant.

We are supposed to take note of the "struggles" of "elite women" who are so much better than the rest of us. Cry me a goddamned fucking river.

The insinuation of this study, which has been done before with women from Harvard Business School, is just offensive in so many ways. Really, who cares about the fate of certain graduates, male or female, especially those who have the connections to get ahead?
