Hurricane Florence comes closer and closer to targeting the red vote.
Seriously, though, it is scary shit.
Why anybody would ever live in the eastern part of the United States--meaning east of the Rockies--remains a mystery to me. Always, always severe weather in that part of the country whether it is tornadoes, hurricanes, severe cold and snowstorms, or the horrendous humidity in the summer months. The only reason some 56 percent of the country's population lives in the eastern part is because this is the part of the United States that was settled first by Europeans. Most people there don't know any better. The East is nice to visit, but no sane person would live there. I will take the remote chance of volcanoes and earthquakes over this garbage occurring regularly, thank you.

It is expected to get even worse by Thursday.
