It is irrelevant whether or not there was a "struggle" in the George Floyd murder case.  NOBODY has any business whatsoever putting his knee on a suspect's neck, causing his death.

There is nothing to "exonerate" this murderer and his helpers.

I am seeing a lot of BULLSHIT on sites like the shithole Democratic Underground blaming police unions for bad cops.  There are those who know a thing or two about unions and have tried to set the record straight, but these morons don't have a clue how unions operate.

They collectively bargain for their workers.  One of the things police, as public employees, have is the right to due process when they are either being disciplined or in the process of being terminated.  That stems from a public sector job especially being considered a property right.  Bad cops are not the result of unionization but the result of serious shortages of qualified personnel plus poor hiring practices.

Why would this even be THIS high?

Does anybody seriously believe this?

Only 27 percent of registered voters in a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll said they somewhat or strongly agree that Trump himself is religious, while 55 percent somewhat or strongly disagree. Among subgroups, just over a third of all Christians view the president as religious (50 percent do not), while 23 percent of Catholics and 18 percent of independents see him that way.

Evangelicals were more likely to view Trump as religious: 40 percent said they agreed that he is, while 33 percent disagreed.

Ideological conservatives and Republicans were the only demographics in which a majority of respondents characterized the president as religious — 55 percent and 60 percent, respectively.
