Federal death row inmate Lisa Montgomery was executed after the USSC lifted the stay, thus being the first woman in many years to be executed by the federal government. However, Joseph Biden pledged to get rid of the death penalty in the federal system once and for all.
The Montgomery case was nothing short of hideous. Using a ruse, she visited a woman she didn't know who bred dogs, Bobbie Jo Stinnett, and this woman was near full term pregnant. Montgomery murdered this poor woman, took the fetus out of the woman's body, then tried to pass off the baby as hers. It was hideous, but so was Montgomery's life story.
Montgomery was the first woman executed in the federal prison system since 1953.
This case happened in Skidmore, Missouri, a town infamous for the murder of town bully, the psychopath Ken Rex McElroy back in 1981. The town tired of his criminal actions, and the townsfolk conspired to murder him, which they did. Nobody ever was charged with the crime.
In a fit of sadism, Trump fast tracked a bunch of executions right before his leaving the White House because of Biden's desire to get rid of the death penalty.
