As Vile as He Is

even Newt Gingrich is right (as in correct) once in a while. He talks about Obama's grand opus of yesterday. I saw this clip over at the No Quarter blog:






A broken clock is right twice a day. Newt really hit it on the head with this, especially noting Obama was willing to trash his still-alive grandmother in order to defend his pastor.

Campaign Notes.

Well, no shit, Sherlock.

That was the whole idea with the media pumping up two unelectable candidates in the general election. Get rid of the others, especially Edwards, and pump up the remaining two as being "historical."

Voters should be much smarter, but they are not.

No, it wasn't one of the greatest speeches, pressure or no, since JFK. It was a long, disjointed ramble, a crashing bore by somebody who dreaded to give it and had to admit he lied about the good reverend.

had some comments regarding Obama's poor excuse for a speech today. Of course she was much nicer than I would be when asked:

out there, here is the entire Obama CYA speech of this morning, all 37 minutes of it:





What an atrocious speech. It takes him 37 minutes, and he says nothing. It's like listening to a boring college lecture.

Martin Luther King said it far better in his "I Have a Dream" speech, a masterpiece of rhetoric, and it took him only 16 minutes.
