The NRA, of course, is more about protecting the manufacturers of guns and ammo than it is about the rights of hunters to keep their guns.


Kids are far more safe in schools in this country than anywhere else, including and especially their own homes.


The only reason we even heard of the Newtown shootings is because such shootings are extremely rare. I won't even touch on the class issue of these shootings happening in a more affluent area of the country than where most violent school incidents happen.

The Disgrace of the United States Senate

You know how far the once Grand Old Party has fallen when they completely disregard old standard bearers like Bob Dole and John McCain in favor of some batshit crazy nobody's paranoid ideas about something. I totally agree with this opinion:

Perhaps the next Congress can put this up to a vote again.

The GOP's antics prove to all of the world what in the hell is wrong with Washington.

There should not have been a single vote in opposition to such an uncontroversial treaty.

Lawrence O'Donnell

goes off of his meds and attacks John Edwards in one of the most moronic pieces ever written in the history of the blogosphere, if not of all mankind.

He was tacky attacking Mormons, but apparently he hasn't offended enough people.

John Edwards scares the living shit out of the political/economic elites in this country, and it is becoming more and more obvious every day.

They are worried they can't have their stooge, Obama, take the fall for the Democrats in November to John McCain (or whoever the GOP nominee is), so they try to knock out John Edwards once and for all.

Pathetic and obvious.

O'Donnell's not the only one letting the cat out of the bag, either.
