After being forced into hiding after admitting he screwed around on Elizabeth with the daughter of a horse killer and insurance con man, John Edwards will try to show up in public again to give a speech at Hofstra University in New York next month.
I, like many Edwards supporters, am really disgusted with what he did by basically destroying his political future with his recklessness, his idiocy, and his complete lack of candor in NOT revealing the affair when he announced he was running for president in late 2006. On the other hand, I know the guy was a victim of blackmail, and I don't think I have to say who I think was responsible for him abruptly leaving the race in January. It ain't somebody with the last name of Clinton.
