Unlike last week's show, an exercise in crashing boredom, this week's VP debate should be something.
We know without a doubt Joseph Biden is the far better debater and one of the best in the country. We know Sarah Palin has made a few stumbles since her nomination as McCain's running mate. However, the only way Biden will lose this debate is if he defeats himself.
The bar is set very low for Sarah Palin. She needs to stay focused and not be intimidated by the far more experienced Biden. If she does, and she makes no gaffes, she will hold her own. It's BIDEN who has to watch it. He could torpedo Obama's slender chances of winning in November if he either gaffes, acts patronizing towards Palin, or acts like an arrogant shit. In other words, if he acts like Obama.
All eyes will be watching that debate Thursday. It may well make or break this campaign, fraud notwithstanding.
