It isn't always true that with age comes wisdom, as demonstrated by feminist Robin Morgan.

Morgan must surely remember back during the second wave of feminism many feminists were Republicans; granted, they weren't necessarily right-wing but more of the moderate variety, but they were there and there were many.

I don't think being a feminist means one belongs to a particular political party; if this were the case, then third parties would be the way for feminists to go.

Getting back to Sarah Palin, one can criticize her policies without making some kind of litmus test for feminist ideals. She is definitely an example of a woman who has made it in a man's world, and that's regardless of party.
