New Year's Eve Reads

Elizabeth Warren has decided to make it official.

Personally, I don't give her much of a shot, but anybody would be better than Sanders.  I have read a number of her books on bankruptcy.  She is one of the leading experts in this area.

Warren doesn't have a lot of elected experience or what is called "charisma."  She is also pushing 70.

I would support her if she were the nominee.

I myself would like to see Oregon's Jeff Merkley throw his hat into the ring.

WRT Sanders, I hope this letter will make him think twice before considering another bid for the White House.

He is getting too long in the tooth anyway.

Nothing screams mortality like being a parent and a grandparent.  This is contrary to the notion children somehow give you "immortality."  All they do is make you aware of your own mortality and in the end it is all futile.
