It appears Barack is no longer the "rock star" of the campaign.

It is not known whether a free concert preceded her speech.

A Waste of Time and Money

After all of the crap that the DNC pulled on Florida in order to help Barack Obama in the primaries, Obama is simply wasting his time there.

When headline writers write a falsehood about Obama getting the "majority" of delegates, which no person truly believes, no even Obama, then the article isn't worth reading, even if it is critical of both Obama and Clinton.

If Obama is staggering to the nomination he hasn't yet won, just wait until the GOP gets done with him if he does get it.

Ronald Reagan did that in 1976, but it didn't pan out because Gerald Ford got the nomination.

Forget about Florida's Jews. Obama ignored the state in the primaries, so why would Floridians even bother to vote for him should he get the nomination?

Because of Obama's extremely narrow base ala George McGovern in 1972, states like Ohio and Florida would be out of reach for him in November, which is another reason why Hillary Clinton or somebody else should be the presidential nominee for the Democrats.

Chicago politics are what made Barack Obama, and Chicago politics could break him if Democrats are crazy enough to make him the nominee.

Moreover, his "transformative" politics aka Kumbaya Politics is so much horseshit, I refused to back him from the get-go. It shows an appalling lack of knowledge about how far to the right the opposition is and tells me he would further their ends in order to appease them.

Forget him. At least with the awful McCain you know what you are getting. With Obama, he's nothing but a fraud.

And he is posed to wreck the Democratic Party for years.

Actor and comic Tom Poston, 85, who is best known for having appeared on the 70s sitcom Newhart, has died.

Poston was married three times. His third wife and widow is Suzanne Pleshette, his co-star on Newhart. She also has had some serious health problems in recent years.

This is interesting about the two stars, both of whom knew each other for almost fifty years:

Poston and Pleshette, who had appeared together in the 1959 Broadway play "The Golden Fleecing," had had a brief fling before marrying other people. Both now widowed, they reunited in 2000 and married the following year.

Their paths had crossed on "The Bob Newhart Show" in the 1970s. Poston made several guest appearances on the sitcom in which Pleshette played Newhart's wife.

Johnny Carson's bandleader Tommy Newsom has died of cancer at the age of 78.

He succeeded Doc Severinson and quit the Tonight Show when Carson retired.
